Out on Town

It was still only late afternoon by the time we had settled in - so off we went on an exploratory mission. We needed to find some pubs, clubs and a little bit of night-life

Drinks at the Bodega Bar, served by a slightly cocky Liverpudlian who you can just see behind the pumps here. The 3 lagers are very strong lager - just what Sam and Steve needed after a day on the Stella. The Coke (Diet of course) in the middle is mine - coz I'm a big girl when it comes to drinking.

After the Bodega Bar we wandered down to the front. Steve is chuckling here because he can't believe that we managed to pull these fine ladies in such short time. I think him and Sam are checking out the knicker elastic of these 2 lovelies.

Steve and Kilroy balancing precariously in a boat - no reason.

Steve saw this photo and couldn't remember ever having been in this boat. I was impressed that when Kilroy jumped out Steve managed to keep his balance. (Still chuckling though)

Sam is about to rugby tackle Kilroy. Kilroy doesn't know it yet. Oh the joys of being pissed!

Note the man in the background - he could have warned Kilroy couldn't he? What a git!!

New character - Lindsey. Sam and Steve met her walking down the road and in 5 minutes she agreed to go out drinking with 4 boys she had never met before, and even invited us to her house - which we didn't take her up on. She did say "My boyfriend thinks I'm too naive" - well he might just be right.

Kilroy has that mean look again (either that or he's pissed), Steve is either shocked or confused and Sam is just thinking about getting aggressive - he got more aggressive as the night wore on, but never too bad. I think when the alcohol level reached his eyes then things went a bit pear-shaped - too much Stella topped up with a mixture of lager and spirits can do this apparently.
